12U and 18+ Jahnle/Guay
10U/12U/14U Coordinator
Bio: Coach Dave is now entering his 8th season with the New England Diamond Gems, having coached at every age group. Coming full circle after finishing his softball journey with his daughter Abigail, a career Gems player, Dave looks forward to guiding the next generation of Diamond Gems along with his coaching partner Kelsey Fisher at 12U for the 2024-2025 season.
Coach Dave brings years of coaching experience at multiple rec and travel levels including Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth Baseball, Boys & Girls Town and Travel Basketball and of course Softball. As the representative for Hollis Brookline in the Souhegan Valley rec softball league, he met and coached against, Greg Herbert, the representative for Milford. Together, they coached and ran Souhegan Valley Storm, for the last two years prior to joining the Diamond Gems organization. Both Dave and Greg's daughters wore Gems uniforms their entire USA Softball travel careers which is rare in today's travel softball era.
Coach Dave's enthusiasm for player development and the unlocking of athletes full potential is undeniable. Dave works with players on an individual level to teach accountability, respect and solid work ethic, understanding a coaches role to not only teach the game, but to build confident and strong young women.
In his free time, Dave plays modified pitch softball, golfs and bowls with his friends. He enjoys time spent with his wife Michele and his adult children Camden and Abigail.

2024-2025 Season: 12u
Bio: Izze is ecstatic to begin her coaching journey with the Gems! As a senior at Triton High School (Byfield, MA), she has played at the club level for 5 years. She has played every position around the diamond (including pitcher and catcher) and plays 3rd base and outfield most commonly now. She decided to spend her off-season this year coaching tournaments instead of playing in them, and is honored to be working alongside Coach Dave, Coach Kelsey, and Coach Ava. In her first year with the Diamond Gems, Izze is so excited to learn from her fellow coaches and the players and hopes to have an amazing season.
